Hey nice ride there John, how did you manage to fit 30s? I will be picking my rig up in a few weeks and was hopin to get some 30s without a long travel. Are you running wheel spacers or anything? Love the red looks sharp!
There are two companies that I know of out there that make a 2″ bracket lift. I’ve tried one of them and it caused my right rear axle to pop out of the differential. CATVOS, (custom atv of shreveport) sells a 2″ spring spacer kit. You take your struts off, take the spring off the strut, put the spacer on, and put it all back together. It doesn’t allow for an increased range of movement so you don’t have to worry about the problems associated with the lift, but it takes all the sag out of the suspension. It gave me 2.1 inches in the front and 1.9 in the back which is plenty to clear the 30s. I’ve put about 100 miles on it since then with no issues. The spacer kit will run you about $120 shipped I believe.
